The Billing Department handles all patient billing questions and concerns, requests for itemized bills, and account balance inquiries. The billing department will be happy to help you with any questions you may have regarding any services rendered at our cancer centers. Medicare, Medicaid and, and most insurance carriers require that professional fees for services be billed separately from hospital charges, laboratory, radiation therapy and other medical services.

| The Texas Hematology/Oncology (THOC) Network is committed to working with you and your insurance carrier to make sure that you have full access to our services. The THOC Network participates with many insurance carriers and accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card, along with cash and checks as payment on any balances that remain after your insurance carrier has paid. Please verify that the THOC Network accepts your insurance carrier at the time you call to set up an appointment. |

The THOC Network will submit a claim to your insurance company that you have assigned payment for your benefits. Please note that insurance plans do not usually cover the full amount of medical services. You will be required to pay any deductible, co-payments, or uncovered portions of the charges at the time that services are rendered. Our patient account representatives will assist you with various ways of making payments towards any balances that you may owe. Ultimately, all patients are responsible for their payment for services rendered.
