Patients’ First

The Very Picture of Health…

A new, simple solution for the rising healthcare costs.

The ever increasing cost of healthcare today has put a stain on many people’s finances, especially those who have little or no health insurance or high deductible insurance. We have a solution — Patients’ First — that offers substantial savings on high-quality, convenient diagnostic radiology services. The program is offered to anyone who needs the latest high-tech scans to detect potential health problems.

All procedures are performed on an outpatient basis in a comfortable, home-like atmosphere at our state-of-the-art facilities at both Patients Comprehensive Cancer Center and the McKinney Regional Cancer Center. Individuals should be referred to the program by their healthcare providers or other referral sources, such as human resource and employee assistance managers or community outreach coordinators.

Patient RoomSome people may want to take advantage of our diagnostic radiology services by using money in their flexible spending accounts. With these “use it or lose it” accounts, they can pay for health expenses not covered by insurance deductibles.

Because we are passing on tremendous savings directly to the patient, payment is required at the time of the procedure, and can be made with cash, check or credit card. Medical statements are available to file with insurance as needed.

Patients’ First services and benefits include:

  • CT Scans
  • General X-ray
  • MRI Scans
  • Interventional Radiology (upper/lower GI, Myleography, etc.)
  • Nuclear Medicine Imaging
  • PET/CT scans
  • Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS)--Digital Interpretation
  • Echocardiogram
  • Selected laboratory services
  • All films read by board-certified radiologists

Referral Procedure Made Simple
If you would like to refer someone to Patients’ First program, simply contact us or our Patients’ First medical advisor and we will initiate the appointment process with the patient’s healthcare provider. We will then follow up with the patient to schedule a convenient time. You will be kept up to date on each step of the process. Referring physicians will receive the results the next business day. At the physician’s request, one of our radiologists will closely coordinate with you and your patients regarding any additional follow-up exams.
